Cha Gi is a brindle french bull dog, born May 30,
2002. He is from White Plains NY. He is 9 years old.
Cha Gi began working at RKA in August of 2002. At first, he came to work
with an assistant until he became proficient in his job. His job duties
include: greeting students and parents, napping in his bed, walking
across the floor, finding another place to nap, getting a drink of
water, looking out into the parking lot, snoring, napping in his crate,
rolling on the floor, lying upside down, keeping tabs on "Woody," and
slapping some paw.
In 2005, Cha Gi did a photo shoot with Paper House Productions in
Saugerties. Their products can be found in Target and Michael's. He is
the french bull dog on their die cut greeting card and magnet.
Cha Gi lives in Hyde Park with Tribble and Trixie. At home, he likes to
watch for squirrels, cats and the UPS truck/driver. He is a fussy eater,
and sleeps in a bed, under the covers with his head on a pillow.
Cha Gi has attended basic obedience and agility classes. His philosophy
on that is: he's willing to do anything once, but then what is all the
repetition for?
Cha Gi weighs 26 lbs.
Cha Gi makes noises breathing because he is considered brachiocephalic,
(short muzzled).
Cha Gi's favorite person is SBN.
His mentor and role model was Odo, a basenji.
His best dog friend is "Alex" the boxer.
Cha Gi has a secret crush on "Empi" (and always has, shhhhhh, she says
he drools).
His favorite food is pizza.
And, his arch-nemesis is "Woody."
CHA GI-ISMS:
1. Life is good and I am a Black Belt. (Question: Do Black Belts get to
sleep a lot???)
2. I do not prefer animals bigger than me.
3. Actually, life is better when you have a jolly ball.
4. Life is best when you have a jolly ball and chicken.
5. I believe you SHOULD think about chicken when doing forms because
chickens bring you closer to nature, (especially when doing the Chil
Sung forms because they represent nature......).
6. If it looks like poop and smells like poop and is on the bottom of
your shoes, then please leave them OUTSIDE of the karate school.
